In short: you have to go here if you want to enjoy an outstanding dinner in a very nice ambience and very perfect service... It is a small restaurant, only 15 places (or so), you should call them for a reservation. We were spending a week here and this is probably our single most culinary highlight! Good selection options both for meat lovers and vegetarians.

**A Hidden Gem in Luino!**
We stumbled upon this incredible family-owned Italian restaurant in Luino and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like part of the family—so welcoming, so genuine. The chef even came out to show us the fresh tuna that was part of the day's special, which was a lovely personal touch and made the meal feel extra special.
They were *fantastic* with children—patient, kind, and clearly used to making little ones feel at home. The portions were enormous (come hungry!) and every dish was bursting with flavor. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite.
If you're anywhere near Luino, do yourself a favor and eat here. Highly recommended—we’ll be dreaming about that meal for a long time!- Tipo di pasto

Highlight Restaurant during our stay in and around Luino. The food and dining experience was excellent. Linguine frutti Di mare tasted excellent. Also the fish fillet was great and the roasted potatoes were amazing. The octopus salad is served slightly warm and tastes excellent too. The carpaccio was great and the meat was very tende. The service was super nice and we were offered free homemade limoncello after we finished. During and after the dinner the hosts came and asked two times if everything is ok. Octopus with Baked Potato - a little vinaigrette in this appetizer in which that opens up the taste palette.
Seafood Pasta - as the picture shows, super a lot of ingredients and the taste mix was awesome.
Mussels with Sea Urchin - an awesome find! The strong taste of urchin blends nicely with the herbs and mussles and the linguine was cooked to perfection (imo).
Pistachio Biscuity Cake - Very nice homemade cake with generous serving of pistachio on it and in the cream. Sweet top off to the meal we had :)
In short, a great find off a small alley from the main road. Topped off the experience with extremely helpful and friendly staff to us and our dogs :)- Servizio

When we arrived, Elia suggested the main course—spaghetti with tuna and mushrooms. (Amazing mix) .The food and dining experience were excellent, and the portions were very generous. During and after dinner, the hosts came by several times to ask if everything was okay, making us feel very welcomed. The prices were also very reasonable, and everything was fresh and homemade. I was eating at Elia and Ugo’s place. And what a marvel. The food was really good. I had a carpaccio and a tuna steak with spinach - and top it the desert was profiteroles. Where the highlight was the Carpacia and the Tuna. On top of that - the service was really nice and friendly… Highly recommended…

I had no chance to make a photo. But we eat trio with fishes as a starter, huge salad for just 5€, pasta Bolognese and special of the day ravioli with salmon.. Oh my goodness food was so good, you can't imagine how good it was. If you want to try local Italian hidden gems. You are very welcome here!

Our visit felt like coming to a friend's home for dinner. A warm welcome combined with delicious food is a really great experience and definitely a must in Luino. Elia & Ugo you are a great team with heart and we will definitely visit you again.
